This is a unique protective thermoplastic coating for all parts of the Roldeck (except screws, nuts, and bolts, which are supplied in stainless steel 316) developed for pools with a high chloride content. Roldeck® has developed an innovative new solution: the Roldeck® bumper. The popularity of PP/HDPE/PPC (polypropylene) pools has increased significantly in recent years. Repeated opening and closing of the cover may cause the slats to lightly touch the pool edge, which can lead to scratches, especially in polypropylene pools due to the material’s sensitivity. The Roldeck® bumper, which is easily clicked onto the last slat, prevents this issue.

Roldeck® has developed chamfers, also known as "shark fins," to better guide the first slat along elements such as skimmer flanges. These chamfers can be mounted on one side, either left or right, or on both sides. In rectangular pools with rounded corners, it is possible to place the chamfer only on the front slat, while in round or oval pools, chamfers can be mounted on multiple slats. This aesthetic solution not only improves functionality but also provides better pool coverage and helps reduce heat loss.
